Fuji Film Recipe for Low Light: Fuji Gras

I used the Fuji Gras recipe for low light night photography for Mardi Gras Parades in New Orleans. This Fuji Film Recipe uses Eterna as it seems to do well in my experience in low light and as an all-purpose film similation. This Fujie Film low light recipe wasn’t intended necessarily for portraits but seems to do well for people photos during day and night. For the photos taken with the Fuji Gras recipe I did not use a lens filter.

All photos are camera jpegs which were resized for upload to the web. Although this fuji recipe seemed good for low light photography, noise reduction was applied to some of the photos for a cleaner look. No other modifications made to the images. Some images used ISO up to 5000 and most all shots were wide open at F 1.2.
